Ukraine is at war with the Russian invaders. More than 3 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. Many people moved from the area of active hostilities to safer regions of Ukraine. In order to help such persons, the Government has introduced a number of social support measures, namely financial assistance to internally displaced persons, benefits for children, persons with disabilities, and lump-sum unemployment benefits. Financial support will also be provided to employers who have displaced IDPs and families who have provided them with shelter.
ASSISTANCE TO IDP MIGRANTS
Every person who was forced to leave his place of permanent residence due to the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian occupiers will receive a residence permit from the state. The state will pay a monthly allowance of UAH 2,000 to each IDP in Ukraine. In addition, payments are provided for children. Parents of each child who moved to safer regions will be paid 3,000 hryvnias a month. People with disabilities will also receive UAH 3,000 a month. From March 31, 2022, migrants will be able to register with the “Diia” application and receive these payments online.
P I SUPPORT EMPLOYER I C
Employers who employ IDPs from the affected regions will be paid UAH 6,500 per month (for each employee) . These funds should go to pay for such workers. Compensation for such costs is provided to the employer for each employed person on the terms of a fixed-term or permanent employment contract (contract), gig contract, in particular, part-time. An internally displaced person may be employed on the specified conditions only once . . The total duration of reimbursement may not exceed 2 months from the date of employment. To receive reimbursement of expenses, the employer must apply no earlier than 5 calendar days after the employment of the person either to the employment center (at the location of the employer), or through the application “Diia”. To receive reimbursement for the second month, the employer must confirm the continuation of employment.
HELP ON IGNORANCE AND TTYU
The Diia application has launched new service – payment with unemployment in size p and 6500 UAH in within eSupport program for _ _ Ukrainians with inhabited points where _ are conducted active combat actions . Employees for whom SSC is paid (except for employees of budgetary institutions, national insurance funds and civil service) and private individuals of all groups can receive financial support. These are only those people who pay taxes in the regions where the most active hostilities are taking place: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Volyn, Kyiv regions and the city of Kyiv. it is possible only through the application “Action”, having issued “there is a support”. Funds are credited to the account within 10 working days after submitting the application. The program involves all banks that are connected to “eSupport”: Monobank, Alfa-Bank, PrivatBank, A-Bank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank, Raiffeisen BANK, Vostok Bank, IdeaBank, izibank, FUIB . C and money can be spent on any goods or services, withdraw from ATMs or transfer to other cards.
PAYMENTS TO FAMILIES AS THEY PROVIDED SHELTER TO IDPED MIGRANTS
Families who will provide shelter to IDPs will receive about UAH 450 per month for each person admitted to compensate for housing and communal services. To obtain funds to pay for utilities for the shelter of IDPs , one of the following options should be used: 1. Apply to the local government and provide the necessary information; 2. Submit information through the Shelter website; 3. Submit information through the “Diia” application.
