Humanitarian Corridors

Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine has been going on for days. The occupiers, using siege tactics, doomed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to certain death. People are left without food, water, heat, medicine, under constant bombardment, rocket attacks and heavy artillery fire. The cities and towns of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. The enemy issued an ultimatum: either surrender or die of starvation, exhaustion, wounds and disease. It is almost impossible to get out of any surrounded city. Difficult negotiations on the “green corridors” are underway, but then disrupted by the aggressor. Roads are mined, and the Russian occupiers are constantly attacking refugees. All these people, in accordance with the International humanitarian law, must be provided with immediate assistance and safe evacuation.

The Charitable Foundation is involved in creating safe ways for civilians in danger to travel to other cities and regions or to receive food and medicine.
